Norman R. Toelle A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 1995, in the Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Multnomah Presbyterian Church. Mr. Toelle died July 2 of cancer at age 68. He was born May 11, 1927, in Portland. He attended Beaverton High School and worked in the shipyards during World War II. In 1950 he married Dorothy Elston. He graduated in accounting from the University of Oregon in 1955. He worked as a certified public accountant in various firms before becoming comptroller and treasurer of Cummins Oregon Diesel, retiring in 1983 after 20 years. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Diane Oliver of Scotts Mills; son, Douglas of Fairbanks, Alaska; sister, Verna Gardner of Forest Grove; brothers, Marshall of Quadra Island, British Columbia, Ralph of Portland, Donald of Burns and Alan of Bellevue, Wash.; and one grandchild.
