Lucile Buehler, 77, rites Wednesday Lucile Florence Buehler, 77, Hillsboro, died May 13, 1993, at Bess Kaiser Medical Center in Portland of congestive heart failure. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bethany United Presbyterian Church in northwest Portland. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Bethany United Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Buehler was born April 6, 1916, in Bend. She and her husband, Frank Buehler, had been married for 54 years. She was the owner and operator of Bell's Tropical Fish Shop in northeast Portland before retiring in 1967. Mrs. Buehler was a charter member of the Oregon Archaeological Society and was a long-time member of Friendly Grange #97. She was an early member of the Mazamas from 1937 to 1944. Survivors include her husband, Frank L. Buehler, Hillsboro; a daughter, Katherine Block, Parkrose; a son, John Buehler, Portland; a granddaughter, Kristen Buehler, Portland; a grandson, Jacob Buehler, Portland; and a brother, John N. Fields, Culver. The family suggests memorial contributions to Bethany United Presbyterian Church, 15505 NW Springville Road, Portland.
