LAREISA JONES, 10, victim of leukemia HELVETIA—Lareisa Louise Jones, 10-year-old daughter of Jer- rold and Jody Jones of Helvetia, died Jan. 17, 1993, at Emanuel Hospital in Portland of leukemia and complications following surgery. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery in northwest Portland. Interment in the cemetery will follow. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church in northwest Portland. Additional memorial services will be at West Union Elementary School Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Lareisa was born Feb. 4, 1982, in Portland; a daughter of Jerrold and Jody Grant Jones. She was a fifth grade student at West Union Elementary School. She was an avid dancer and softball player and was a member of 4-H cooking and sewing clubs. She enjoyed music. She attended Bethany Presbyte- rian Church. Survivors include her parents, Jerrold and Jody Jones, Helvetia; a brother, Loren Jones, Helvetia; a sister, Megan Jones, Helvetia; grandparents, Hank and Helvetia Grant, Hillsboro; 10 cousins; and aunts and uncles.
