Fred Pfister A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, in Peg & Springer Chapel for Fred Pfister. Mr. Pfister was born Dec. 28, 1895, in Portland. He attended grade school in Bethany. In 1971 he retired as a mechanic for farm equipment. He married Margaret Ahrens in 1936; she died in 1989. Surviving are his son, John of Portland; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery.
