Betty F. Mortensen A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, in Peggy I?axon & Springer Funeral Home for Betty F. Mortensen, who died June 4 at age 77. Betty F. Hicketheir was born May 18, 1930, in Hillsboro. She graduated from Beaverton High School and was a catalog order filler for Montgomery Ward, an assembler for GAF, and most recently worked for Panzer Nursery. In 1950, she married Jack C.; he died last December. Survivors include her sons, Jack Jr., Jerry and Eric; stepson, Tom; sister, Blanche Seifert; brother Melvin Hicketheir; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
