BETHANY—Bertha Linder Dysle, 101, life-long resident BETHANY—Bertha Linder Dysle, 101, died Jan. 8, 1992, at Celebrity Homes foster care in Aloha. Private interment was in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial services were at 2:30 today at Bethany Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Dysle was born Oct. 18, 1890, on Germantown Road in Linnton, one of 11 children of Swiss immigrants John and Elizabeth Linder. She attended Germantown Grade School. On April 17, 1929, she married Verne A. Dysle. They lived on their farm on 185th Avenue. Her husband died Dec. 8, 1978. Mrs. Dysle was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and her chickens. She had been a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church for 83 years. Survivors include two daughters, Ette and Charles Barner, Lewistown, Pa., and Ruth and Ken Nordling, Portland; a son and daughter-in-law Vern V. and Sam Dysle, Portland; three grandchildren and their spouses, Sharon and Cory Fawsett, Carl and Becky Nordling, and Paul Nordling; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials or contributions to the Bethany Presbyterian Church. Willamette Funeral Home of Portland was in charge of arrangements.
