Ann R. Ediger, 84, burial rites Saturday Ann Rowland Ediger, 84, Hillsboro, died Jan. 17, 2007. Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery in Portland. Mrs. Ediger was born Feb. 12, 1922, in Martle, Mo. She moved to Portland during World War II to work in the shipyards. In 1946, she married David Ediger. They lived in Cedar Mill until moving to Hillsboro in the early 1990s. He died in 1992. In 1993, she married Gerald Brown. He died in 2000. Mrs. Brown Ediger was a member of Orenco Presbyterian Church, had served as an elder and deaconess and was active in all aspects of the church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Dolores Jean McMurtry, Aloha; a stepson, Raymond David Ediger, Frederick, Md.; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Dan Rowland, Nesbit, Miss.; and a sister, Aline Mitchell, Tuscumbia, Ala. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Rowland, and a sister, Josie Miller. Memorial contributions are suggested to Legacy House-McMinnville, 7275 McDaniel Lane; McMinnville, OR 97128.
