Robert Patrick,81, a former resident of Hillsboro, Oregon passed away Monday evening, August 12, 2024 at his daughter’s home in Longview,Wa.

Private burial rights will be held at the Tualatin Plains Presbyterian Church cemetery (Old Scotch Church Cemetery), 30685 N.W. Scotch Road in Hillsboro Oregon.

Robert was born April 24th, 1943, in Avenel, California, the son of Dewey Bert Patrick, and Isle Mae (Hupp) Patrick. He was raised and received his education in the California community having attended Hilhi high school class of 1962 in Hillsboro, Oregon.

He was united in marriage to Lily Ruth Scheer on January 13, 2001, in Hillsboro, Oregon. Following their marriage, they resided in their Hillsboro home.

Robert was proceeded in death by his wife, Lily on July 30, 2022, after celebrating over twenty-one years of marriage together.

He had worked as an automobile mechanic for the Royal Moore company in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Robert was a member of the North Plains Christian Church in Oregon.

Among his special interests, he enjoyed pulling wrenches on anything with a motor, small engines or large vehicles.

Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren, making soap-box race cars for Cub Scouts to playing Barbies, blocks and tinker toys.

Robert enjoyed his fruit trees and their amazing garden each year. They would grow, dry and shell their own beans each year.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Dewey and Isle Patrick, and his son, Jeffrey Patrick of California.

Survivors include his three children, & two stepchildren: Charles Patrick, of Portland, Oregon, Raymond Patrick, of Tigard, Oregon,  David Patrick, of Oak Ridge, California, Phillip Werner, Jr.,of Tillamook, Oregon, and Ronda Smith, of Longview, Washington.
