Obituary

Lily Ruth Patrick, 80, a resident of the Hillsboro community, died Saturday morning, July 30, 2022 at Silver Cloud Adult Foster Care Home in Forest Grove.
Private Cremation Rites were held at Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. Private Interment will follow at the Tualatin Plains Presbyterian Church Cemetery (aka: Old Scotch Church Cemetery), 30685 N.W. Scotch Church Road in Hillsboro.
LILY RUTH PATRICK was born June 14, 1942, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of the late Elmo Sheer and Elinor Mae Dale. She was raised and received her early education in Seaside, later moving with her family to the Hillsboro community, having been a graduate of the Hillsboro Union High School Class of 1960.
She was united in marriage to Phillip Werner. Following their marriage, they resided in the Hillsboro community. They later divorced.
On January 13, 2001, Lily was united in marriage to William “Robert” Patrick in Hillsboro, Oregon. They celebrated their 21st Wedding Anniversary this past January. Following their marriage, they have made their home in the Hillsboro community, since.
Lily had worked as a machine operator in a plastic plant for thirteen years, besides providing private homecare.
She was a member of the North Plains Christian Church.
Among her special interests, Lily enjoyed sewing, quilting and caring for her flowers, especially her lilies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, LeRoy Sheer and her stepson, Jeffrey Patrick.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Patrick, of the family home in Hillsboro, Oregon; her son, Philip Werner, Jr., of Garibaldi, Oregon; Rhonda Smith, of Kelso, Washington and her three stepchildren, Charles Patrick, of Portland, Oregon; Raymond Patrick, of Tigard, Oregon and David Patrick, of Oakridge, Oregon and her two brothers, Larry Sheer, of Sisters, Oregon and Leslie Sheer, of Hillsboro, Oregon.
Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
