Flat gravestone marker set into the ground, consisting of a rectangular dark granite or bronze plaque with engraved white lettering and a detailed carved pine tree emblem on the left side. The inscription reads: 'ROBERT G CLAYTON' as the primary name, followed by birth and death dates 'JAN 23 1957 - 1999', and epitaph 'GOD LOVED YOU TOO'. The plaque is bordered and mounted on a light gray concrete base. Surrounding the marker is patchy dry grass with green patches, scattered brown autumn leaves, pine needles, and a small pine cone.
