OBITUARY It is with sadness that we announce the death of Riley William Bolen of Portland, Oregon. Born October 4, 1980, he passed away on September 1, 2025 at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital of internal organ failure. Riley grew up in Portland. He was in the first Spanish language immersion class at Ainsworth Elementary and was a graduate of Lincoln High School and the University of Oregon. He majored in Political Science and Spanish. He spent most of his working years at Intel in Hillsboro. He approached life with introspection and thought. A long-time devotee of science fiction, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was the cornerstone of his spiritual view. For the past few years, he vacationed in the Caribbean on a Star Trek themed cruise. Riley is survived by his father Richard, mother Willow, and brother Glen.
