Leslie Wismer A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tigard for Leslie Wismer, who died Nov. 9 at age 82. Mrs. Wismer was born April 4, 1918, in El Centro, Calif., where she was raised. Her maiden name was Pyle. During World War II, she served in the U.S. Navy in the WAVES. She later moved to Portland in the late 1940s and was an executive secretary for a Kaiser hospital for 18 years until her retirement. She was a former member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and recent member of Calvin Presbyterian Church. She moved to Tigard in 1980. She married Raymond Wismer in 1947. Survivors include her husband and niece, Michelle Krinkel. Private interment will be in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity.
