Edward Thompson died June 30, 2004 at age 86. Mr. Thompson was born April 14, 1918 in Tallulah, La. He served in the Army during World War II in Europe. He was a laborer for 35 years and moved in 2000 to Portland. In 1964, he married Ramona Jackson. Survivors: daughter, Ellen Hill; sons, David Jackson and Anthony Jackson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services held. Remembrances to the Portland Rescue Mission.
