Bonnie Moe
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, in Bethany Presbyterian Church for Bonnie Moe, who died Jan. 18 at age 68.
Mrs. Moe was born April 12, 1930, in Wishek, N.D., and moved to Woodland, Wash., at age 12. Her maiden name was Treick. She attended Lewis & Clark College and received a degree in the University of Washington in 1970. Until 1970 she lived in the Seattle area, mostly homemaker, Girl Scout leader and president of the Women's Fellowship at Eastgate Congregational Church. She then lived in Concord, Calif., and taught in public schools until moving in 1979 to Beaverton, where she was a substitute teacher for Beaverton high schools until retiring in 1995. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. In 1951, she married Robert N. Moe.
Survivors include her husband, Robert P. "Pete" of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Daniel of Fresno, Calif., and Timothy of Sherwood; daughters, Barbara Jennifer Moe Taylor of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Caroline Moe Ross of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; sister, Evelyn Fields of Renton, Wash.; brothers, Edward Treick of Ellensburg, Wash., and Jon Treick of Puyallup, Wash.; and 13 grandchildren.
Private interment will be in Bethany Presbyterian Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society for ovarian cancer research or her church's building fund. Arrangements are by Pegge-Wilson & Springer Chapel in Beaverton.
