Obituary
Guy Kurt Yankovich, 48, a resident of the Verboort community passed away on December 30, 2016 at his home.
Interment will be at Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Verboort, OR
Guy was born on February 21, 1968 in Tacoma, WA. He was the only son born to George and Georgette (Hermes) Yankovich. He was raised in Lakewood, WA. He attended Lakes High School, graduating with the Class of 1987.
He met his future wife, Jennifer Ascher, while at church. They soon began dating and they were married on December 31, 2006 in Beaverton, Or. They made their home in Rock Creek until 2015 when they moved to Verboort.
Guy owned and operated several businesses throughout his life, including a landscaping and a DJ business. The last ten years he has owned and operated Northwest Audio Visual Productions, helping events and productions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
He was first and foremost a loving father to his two children Luke and Hope. He also was an avid gardener/landscaper and enjoyed" tractor work" on their two acre farm in Verboort. He also loved to decorate their home in holiday decorations. He loved Christian music and music from the 80's. He loved to be outdoors and venture out on family outings. He was a regular volunteer at his church as an AV tech.
He is preceded in death by his father; George and two siblings, Monte Manuel and Walter Yankovich.
He is survived by his loving wife; Jennifer, two children Luke (6 years) and Hope (6 months), his mother; Georgette of Forest Grove, three siblings and their spouses; Cody and Bonnie Manuel of Bremerton, WA, George and Susan Yankovich of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Wayne and Lou Yankovich of Indianapolis, IN, his in-laws; Gary and Laverna Ascher of Garden Home, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held sometime in January, after the family has a small private ceremony.
