Michael Travis Williams, 45, a member of the North Plains and Bethany Village communities passed away on June 3, 2019 at the Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland.

Michael was born on October 25, 1973 in Anaheim, CA He was the youngest of two sons born to Russ and Sharon (Currie) Williams. He was raised in Orange County and attended University High School graduating with the Class of 1991.

Michael enlisted into the US Air Force and served his country for five years. He was honorably discharged as a Senior Airman in 2000. He then moved to Portland to be closer to his older brother, here he enrolled into Portland State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications in 2007

He met his future wife; Amanda Herinckx, while living in the same apartment community. They soon began dating and married four years later on July 7, 2007 in Irvine, CA. They made their home in Bethany Village and had three children; Katie, Noah and Jace. In 2014 they moved to North Plains.

Michael was a fireman while enlisted in the USAF. He then worked mostly in sales.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping fishing and time spent with his family. He was a mountaineer some of his notable climbs where Mt Hood and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Michael was an excellent cook an avid gardener and liked to keep things neat and meticulous.

He is survived by his loving wife; Amanda, three children Katie, Noah and Jace all of the family home, his parents; Russ Williams of Portland, Sharon Williams of Portland, his brother; David Williams of Portland, and many nieces and nephews.
