DOROTHY ANN SHERRATT was born January 16, 1925 in Roy, Oregon, the daughter of Wilford Greene and Dora A. (Vanderzanden) Greene. She was raised in the Banks and Verboort communities, having graduated from Verboort High School.
In 1957, Dorothy began her career with the Elections Department of Washington County. She worked as an elections clerk for twenty-eight years until 1985 when she retired.
She was a member of the Catholic Church, having attended St. Anthony's Parish in Forest Grove for several years although she always felt that Visitation Parish in Verboort was her home church.
Among her interests, Dorothy enjoyed camping and fishing with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
