Cassandra Lynn Brunner, lovingly know as Cassy, beloved daughter, sister, partner and cherished fried, passed away on August 14, 2026, in Anchorage, Alaska, after her courageous battle with breast cancer.  She was 41 years old.

Casey was born on March 10, 1985, in Lakewood, Colorado, to Michael Richard Brunner and Connie Gail Carmen.  Michael remarried Maschelle Joye Thorne and they moved to Forest Grove, Oregon.  There Casey grew up surrounded by wonderful memories and formed lifelong connections with people in the community.

Casey was part of a large and loving family.  She is survived by her sisters Star Obrist, Alicia and Chris Lauk, and her twin sister Amanda Brunner, and her brothers, Sean Brunner, Alex and Ashley Brunner and Kyle and Stephanie Brunner, and her brother Travis Brunner.

Long and loving relationship with Tai Gaius and she was deeply loved by Ty and his two daughters Maya and Haley they shared a bond filled with love family and countless members that will forever be treasured.

Casey worked Has a produce clerk at Fred Meyer where she became part of the community and touched the lives of those she worked alongside.

Those who knew Casey will remember her for the love she gave to her family and the people who she cared about Though her life was far too short the memory she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the lives of her family and loved ones.  She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Rest peacefully Cassy.   Your fight is over, but your love and memory will live on in all of us.
