Flat gray granite gravestone marker for the Hughes family, featuring a decorative border with etched evergreen trees on both sides and a deer in the center beneath the names. Prominently engraved family surname 'HUGHES' at the top in large capital letters. Below, two individual names side by side: 'MICK' with birth year '1939' and epitaph 'Our Strength', and 'VONNIE' with dates '1942-2002' and epitaph 'Our Sunshine'. The stone is laid flat on a concrete base surrounded by green grass, scattered brown and orange autumn leaves, and nearby natural plantings including purple flowering shrubs and green leafy plants. A brown leather boot is partially visible in the lower right corner near the edge of the stone. No artificial flowers, flags, or mementos on the grave itself.
