Old Scotch Church Cemetery

Church Right

A large, rectangular gray granite ledger-style gravestone lying flat on the ground in a grassy cemetery plot. The stone has beveled edges and contains inscriptions for five family members, all sharing the Bothwell surname: Mary Chalmers Bothwell (1867-1937), Mary Bothwell Barry (1900-1960), Margaret Bothwell Olds (1892-1961), Elizabeth Bothwell Olsen (1902-1982), and Catherine Bothwell Mallory (1895-1983). The names and dates are carved in sans-serif capital letters, arranged in columns with birth years on the left and death years on the right. No epitaphs, symbols, emblems, or decorations are visible. The stone is surrounded by green grass with some bare dirt patches nearby, and evergreen trees are visible in the background under sunny conditions.
