Flat rectangular gravestone marker lying on the ground, made of weathered brownish granite or similar stone. Centered inscription reads 'KAREN BJORNSEN' in large carved letters. Below the name: birth date 'NOV 29 1883' and death date 'AUG 28 1949' in smaller carved text. Decorative floral emblems (clusters of five-petaled flowers, possibly dogwood) carved on the upper left and right corners of the stone. The marker is bordered by a low concrete or stone edging partially visible. Surrounding area is grass with patches of weeds and dry grass, sunny daylight with shadows. No epitaph, symbols like crosses or military insignia, or additional mementos visible.
