The stone has polished beveled edges and engraved gold lettering. Visible inscriptions: 'BARBARA JEAN LYONS' prominently centered at the top; birth and death dates 'JAN 2' (birth year partially obscured or abbreviated) and 'SEPT 17 2015' below the name; epitaph 'WIFE, MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER' at the bottom. A small floral emblem or symbol (possibly a rose or abstract flower) is engraved in the top left corner. No flowers, flags, or mementos are placed on or near the stone. The stone shows minor weathering and dirt accumulation in the crevices.
