Black granite flat gravestone marker set on a concrete base in a grassy area with fallen autumn leaves. The stone features a portrait photo of a middle-aged Black man wearing eyeglasses, a white dress shirt with a boutonniere flower, a tie, and suit jacket, smiling slightly. Inscriptions include: 'Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle & Friend' at the top; main name 'AKIN OLUREMI OWOS EKUN' (possibly 'Owo Sekun'); dates 'MAY 30, 1970 † JAN. 5, 2012' within an open Bible graphic with a cross symbol; and epitaph below: '"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" Proverbs 3:5'. Two small red ceramic or stone crosses are placed on either side of the stone. A small American flag on a stick is positioned nearby to the right. A metal vault lid is visible in the center of the plot. Sunny day with shadows from nearby trees.
